A seat with storage built in
A built-in window seat turns a bay window, a bedroom alcove or the end of a living room into somewhere to sit, read or look out, and the space underneath into storage. We design the seat to the right height and depth for comfort, with deep drawers or lift-up lids below for toys, blankets, shoes or books.
Window seats work well combined with other joinery: built-in bookshelves either side, a desk at one end or cabinetry along a dining nook. Every piece is made to measure in our Hindmarsh workshop and scribed to your walls on installation by our own team.

Window seat questions
Yes. We measure the bay and make the seat to fit its angles exactly, then scribe it to the walls on installation.
Drawers are easier to get into day to day, especially if the seat has cushions on it. Lift-up lids suit larger items you do not need often. We can combine both.
It depends on the size, layout and finishes. We provide a free in-home measure and a fixed quote, so you know the price before anything is made.
